Evaluation Mentoring Programme

Interested in conducting an evaluation yourself, but not sure where to begin? Or want an experienced professional to act as an accountability buddy and brainstorming partner to help decide on methods, tackle problems and focus your analysis? Then join our mentoring programme to receive one-one support to help you implement an evaluation!

How it Works

  • We will have 8 sessions (60-120 minutes each) framed by the milestones in planning and delivering your evaluation.

  • Sessions will include guidance, brainstorming, problem-solving, discussing good practices, and training on key evaluation competency areas relevant to your evaluation.

  • Each session covers three key areas: your evaluation process, enhancing MEL knowledge/skills, and addressing cross-cutting sector issues like gender, bias, and participation.

  • You will be provided with tools and templates to streamline the evaluation process. We will also offer an expert review of data collection tools and report drafts.

  • The programme is customized to your specific needs and context, with online sessions scheduled at mutually convenient times, accessible from anywhere in the world.

  • We also organise mentoring meet-ups for your to connect with other professionals, top up knowledge, and learn from others.

We know from experience that many staff are unsure of where to begin with a evaluation, or how to make sure an internally led evaluation is rigorous, fully addresses their needs, or has the impact they want. Having the support of an experienced evaluator to help guide you through the process, can increase the quality of the process, the final reports and learning value.

We have three pricing bands based on the size and income of your organisation.
We are also offering our mentoring programme free of charge for a small number of grass-roots NGOs with limited resources who work on any of the following topics: LGBTQ+ rights, Migration and Asylum, Newer NGO’s in their “start-up” phases.
